A day of rafting is one of
the best things that you can do in Cusco in a nice
scenery where we will teach you some basic techniques,
before you do the tour.
Cusco- Rio
Urubamba- Cusco.
Duration: 09.00am – 05.00pm At 9:00 AM
We leave for the Urubamba
River in the Sacred Valley of the Incas (south of Cusco),
where our guide will give us an introductory chat on
safety and equipment for our trip running the Urubamba.
We will raft for around 2 ½ hours in Class II, III.IV+
and V rapids, depending on which route we select.
We
could be on Huambutio, Class II, Ollantaytambo Class III
(We run it from May to December), Quiquijana IV and V (Dec
to May). For the last one, which is
the hardest? We always take a safety.
After lunch we
return to Cusco, arriving at around 5:00 PM.
The rainy season is a
really good time to go rafting because the river gets
faster and the waves and other hydraulics are larger.
The rainy season lasts from December to April
